A WOMAN WITH CHILD

Hi.I know it can sound strange for a man to write on this subject. But have you ever thought about it carefully? You know at times we take things for granted and we don`t get the whole meaning out of the issues we pass through.
Now when a woman is with child that is when she is pregnant just about to give birth, sometimes, she feels as if dying is better than passing through all the pain. She doesn`t like it.In fact if you want peace don`t cross her paths because you will receive fire in return.
When the labour pains begin, the only thing she wants is to get the child out!Whether at home,in a cab, walking,in the hospital;if the pains start she will give birth in spite of her surrounding. Now when she is in the labour ward she may even think that the man who gave her the seed did a very grievous thing!
She passes through untold pain. She swears that it is better for her to die!She thinks that is the end of her life!Memories of being alive start disappearing!
But when she delivers the baby she forgets all her pain, she gets filled with great joy,she even forgets she had prayed her last prayer! She even forgets how she was cursing everybody especially the man who gave her the seed! But all that is gone and its time for joy.Everybody comes to rejoice with her.In fact her husband is praised for the great job he did!
Now what do I want to tell you?As born again Christians,we pass through terrible situations. We reach a point of wanting to give up and leave salvation alone. We are rejected, trodden down, tossed to and fro,we get very sick,no money,no food,no one wants to see us.But I want to encourage you just as the pregnant woman perseveres and at last she gets her joy,so we should be patient and press on until we get our victory. In fact, when the battle is so fierce, that is when you are just about to get the long awaited victory. So my friend DO NOT GIVE UP!Jesus is just there with you and He is going to see you through in everything. Please read Romans 8:31-37.And be blessed.

MY STAY IN NAIROBI.

Hi.I have been in Nairobi-Kenya now for sometime. It has not been easy here.Getting official documents here can sometimes be a nightmare! But you know what my friend it is our trust in the Lord Jesus that makes a difference. If your trust is in Him you will need just to follow His direction.
Now I want to teach you something.you see when you are in distress and in big trouble,do not look at the intensity of the problem but look at the greatness of God.When you see the problem as great then your God will be small. But when you see God bigger than your trouble then the problem becomes small.
Another thing is that take every problem or temptation as an opportunity for God to bless you.Let it be that when you are in trouble you rejoice because you know for sure God will use it to glorify Himself.Remember His Name is Immanuel=God with us.Be blessed.Amen.

JENNY MOORE-UGANDA AGENDA 2008

Praise The Lord Brethren.I am Pastor Sammy Mwanzia and I am serving with Jireh Ministries of which Mountain of The Lord is under these Ministries.
I met Jenny in Masaka after she had spend one month in Jinja. She had come to visit her parents en route to Kampala to start the process of getting official documents to enable her adopt the two children;Christopher and Priscilla. So when I met her (I met her at Zebra Hotel in Masaka where we picked her with her parents Jim and Robyn and took them to the church that is Mountain of the Lord Church-Masaka where we had prepared a party for them and The Tennessee Team).
So when I met her at Zebra Hotel,I l started talking to her in Luganda language and immediately she gave me her notebook and I started translating Luganda to English. Now when we were in the party, she talked to Pastor Benjamin about her need of going to Kampala(capital city of Uganda)to the High Court to get the court order.
When we took them to Mariaflo Hotel where they were to spend the night,Pastor Benjamin appointed me to go with Jenny to Kampala to help her go to the High Court.
The next day was Monday 07/04/08.We left Mariaflo Hotel at around 7am in the morning. We were five in the vehicle;Pastor Sam,Jenny,Jackie-Pastor Benjamin`s wife,Tushabe Fredrick and the driver. Our journey was good and we reached Kampala at around 9 to 10 am and proceeded to the High Court immediately.Jackie had some things she had to do in town so she left us.We found Jenny`s friend(from Jinja-Amani Baby Cottage)with the two children in the high court yard.So the process of waiting started.I could see Jenny and her friend discouraged but I encouraged them.Jenny`s lawyer appeared and told us that the registrar who was to sign the court order was not yet in but was on his way.So we waited for three hours and lastly the order was signed,Amen.
Then next place was in the Gender Ministry. The court order stated clearly that we had to get a signature(a signed letter)of one of the officials Before we could proceed to the passport office. We reached his office at lunch time.We met his secretary who received us but immediately she became a problem. She told us that her boss was on leave and could not do any official duty.In fact she told us that many people had come to the office for help but were turned down because her boss was on leave.
Now imagine Jenny was to fly on Friday-11/04/08.Here is a secretary who is telling us that her boss is on a 36-day leave;children are crying;I mean it was chaotic. At last she gave in and told us that her boss was in the building and if we saw a man entering the office we should follow him.
In a short time of waiting(all this time we were standing there were no seats!),praying and doing spiritual warfare,we saw a man enter the office. We immediately knew that he was the one and we followed him.The secretary who had disappeared reappeared and entered the office before us.Her boss insisted that he was on leave, was not going to do any official duty and that we had to respect his leave. There by then Jenny started speaking to him about the urgency of our case.He had to get his secretary out of the office and we were left with him.Meanwhile, the children were crying;and we were lifting them in turns while interceding in the Spirit.
Jenny`s friend presented the files to the official. The man perused through the papers and got a place which was talking about legal guardianship. He read it and Jenny told him it was actually adoption. So that was the point that brought trouble. In fact a heated debate ensued out of that point until the official brought out The Children Act according to The Constitution of Uganda. He said the court order was not in agreement with The Children's Act.Jenny said that she was up to adopting the children and that when they are in America they would be under American law.The man said that neither America nor Uganda had signed the law(international law)concerning children.
Another point the officer brought up was that according to the Children's Act,a person who should adopt a child or children should have stayed with them for 36 months. In fact he said that our paper work was good but the only thing that was hindering was that Jenny(the prospective parent)had not fulfilled the 36 months issue. We were still in the office, the clock was ticking.children were hungry,we were exhausted.A point reached when we felt like giving up!We were fearing that if the official had not signed our papers that day,we would have failed completely.
So he told us that there were some papers which were not signed. So he send us back to the high court to hake the papers signed. But we told Jenny`s friend tom stay behind and make sure that the official did not leave the office. So we went to the high court and the papers were signed and we hurriedly went back to the official`s office. So nit was a to and fro job.The official brought yet another complication that he had to get the registrar on the phone to talk to him. Therefore he send us back to the high court so that he could talk to registrar. He also gave us a time limit of up to 5pm in which if he would leave the office if we delayed. We left Jenny`s friend again in the officials office. When we reached the high court Jenny`s friend called us on phone and told us that the official and decided to sign and therefore we went back.At this point its where Jackie came back and I had to go back to Masaka with her.
In my heart I was not wanting to leave for Masaka, but I hesitantly accepted to leave. So on our way back to Masaka,Jenny Send to me a text message that AT LAST THE OFFICIAL HAD SIGNED OUR PAPERS.PRAISE THE LORD!But here I was, going to Masaka when my heart was in Kampala.I knew the Lord had given me the burden of helping Jenny.
THe next day was Tuesday.Jenny went to the passport office. This time she waqs alone with the two children. She got a lot of problems in the offices.Everywhere she went she had to tell her story afresh!Imagine how boring and intimidating it was. That evening she text me asking me if the next day I could go back to Kampala to help her in the passport office. When the message came I was with Jim and Robyn taking coffee at Mariaflo Hotel. There by the we discussed the issue and we agreed that Robyn AND i were to leave for Kampala the next day because Jenny`s issue was of great concern to us and we had to help.
On Wednesday we left for Kampala at 6:30am in the morning. We were talking to Jenny on phone in our journey.WE reached Havana Hotel Kampala at 10 am and helped Jenny to put her luggage in the car and we left for the passport office. We got some drinks on our way and we were okay.
When we reached the passport office we went straight to the first office which was of the Commissioner of passports and citizenship(Before Jenny met a man who was to direct her to this office).Jenny said that someone had told her that this man was not easy to deal with. But I told her that we had to trust the Lord to see His greatness. So when we entered the office we had to pass through the secretary who took our files and at first she just put them on her table. Then after a while(we were praying) she took the files to her boss.Meanwhile, this man got out and told us that he had been summoned by his boss and would be back in a short while which he3 surely did.But in my heart I knew Jesus was with us and no matter what was coming on our way we had the victory.
So after encouraging Jenny and assuring her that everything would be fine we were allowed to go in the office of the big man. What surprised us is this. The man was so grateful that we had decided to adopt the two children;that there were many orphans in the country and that he was thankful for our action. He was signing the files as he talked.
He called his secretary and ordered her to photocopy a certain paper in our files. Now when we got out of the offices,I started talking to the secretary and readily she became our friend.I told her that we needed her help. That we needed the two passports at 4pm because they were to be taken to the Embassy. At first she resisted and said we had to go back after ten working days.I insisted and told her that I knew she could help us.Then after some time, she accepted to help us.So I took her cellphone number so that we could talk to her even when we were out of the passport offices.
We left the offices and went back to the city centre to take our lunch in a place called Garden City.I knew that the Lord had given us victory. At 3:30 pm we went back to the passport office after talking to the secretary. All the time I was praying in my heart and truly the Lord honoured my prayers. We reached trhe office at 4 pm and after calling her on phone she told us that one of our passports was ready and the other was being printed.
So by 5:30pm we had the two passports in our hands. Is that not wonderful? It was God who truly gave us the victory.Amen.
From the passport office we went back to Havana Hotel where we spend the night.Itwas the beginning of the long awaited victory. The next morning we had an appointment with one official in The American Embassy. But in that morning that is Thursday morning,I felt in my heart that we were not going to get victory that day.We left for the Embassy at 7:15 am.We reached there when it was raining,We did not have anything to cover ourselves from the rain but nevertheless we continued with our mission. The security was tight as usual but we managed to get in.
When we reached the office we were going, the man took our files and read through. He came across the term legal guardianship! We were adopting the children but the judge had said something different! So this man told us that he was to contact the judge and he would talk to us later. We got out of the the office discouraged But I had to stand firm and encourage my sisters(mother and daughter). After a short time Jenny was strong again! We went back to the city to take lunch.Inthe evening we went and packed our car somewhere.I was sorry for Jenny because she was spending a lot of money. So her mother called me aside and she was telling me that I was supposed to leave for Masaka.I told her that I could leave but the issue of her daughter was urgent and the Lord had put Jenny`s burden in my heart.
Jenny also talked to me of the same. But I told them that I was willing to help them till we get the victory. So while I was talking,The lord spoke to me that I had friends in Kampala and I could go and stay in one of my friends house thatr night. And surely when I called one of my friends it worked. So when I told Jenny and her mother about it, it was great.
So we took Jenny and her mother and the two children to Havana Hotel and the drver and I left.
The next morning I met Jenny at the hotel and we all left for the Embassy.I knew in my heart the we were to get victory that day.We reached the Embassy and right away we went to this man`s office. It was real breakthrough.Jenny signed all the papers and the man told us that we could go back on the following Tuesday and collect the visas.See how God works.
We left the office full of joy and assurance and we praised God for His Faithfulness,Greatness,Grace and Breakthrough.
We went to the Emirates office so that we could forward Jenny`s ticket to Tuesday and that we could get tickets for the children. In the office we were told that if Jenny was to fly alone with the two children she had to to have three tickets, but if she would get an adult she would require two tickets. So her mother had no option but to travel with her daughter. So we got two tickets.
We left for Garden city where we met Pastor Benjamin and Jim and after praying we parted.Pastor Benjamin and Jim and Robyn left for Masaka.Jenny the children and I left for Jinja. On the way we found police shooting and I tell you the truth, God saved us.Amen.
We reached Amani Baby Cottage well and we dropped the the children there.Afer I took Jenny to her friends house(Don and Daniel). After she escorted me also to my friends house where I was to stay.I left Jinja on Sunday for I had some work to do in Kampala. On Monday Don went to the Embassy and collected the visas.
So we met with Robyn in Kampala on Tuesday and we parted there.Jenny, her mother and the children left for the airport and me and some brothers left for ,Masaka. When Jenny and her mother and the children had entered the plane she(Jenny)requested to know whether there was oxygen in case of emergency.
The plane was stopped and they were all taken out of the plane and it left. But all in all they managed to board a plane and leave for America.
Praise The Lord Jesus for what He did.All the glory and honour belong to Him.Amen.

MY TESTIMONY

I was born in a family which was deeply rooted in witchcraft. We are seven in our family and I am the third born.I started having funny sicknesses in which when I was taken for medication no sickness could be seen but I still felf sick.I was taken to all known hospitals but to no avail. Then my parents decided to go to the witches where we spend a lot of money.I remember one time we went and stayed in a witchdoctors home for one week. But after returning home,I got headache which ached for one month(it was terrible). Then I was taken to another witch where the headache was appeased.
During my school days it was strive and struggle because I was always in and out of school because of frequent sicknesses. In fact,I just got used to the sicknesses until I started making herbs for myself to come to learn later (after I got born again)that the enemy wanted to make me a witch(in Africa we call them Traditional Healers).
I used to go to a religious church. Not much is done(praying for the sick for example is strange to them)in these churches.
Then one day(I was in senior two),we went to door to door preaching. When it was time for lunch,we went to eat our food telling stories of how the mission went. Then something unusual happened.I was left alone and a voice started speaking to me.The voice said:You are not born again and if you die now you will
go to hell. But I was going to church, was a Sunday School teacher,a choir member,I used to give, was involved in many church activities. But inside me,I was undone.
The first time the voice came,I said those were my thoughts.I brushed them off. Then the voice came again:You are not born again and if you die now you will go to hell, but I still brushed it off.The third time, the voice was so bold, authoritative, and like thunder. It made me shake, fear and tremble. At that point I knew deep within me that that was not man not the devil but God who was speaking to me.Without hesitation,I said:Jesus I give you my life that you be my Lord and my Saviour.Instantly,I got so much peace and I knew that transformation had started and that I was not the same again.
After one week, the Lord Jesus came to me and said:I have healed you of all your sicknesses, now I send you to heal the nations. From that time sickness became history to me.
After I gave my life to Jesus(after two years in salvation),I was rejected byb my parents. They said they did not understand me and that they could not contain me in the house. So they forced me out of the house.I had no money,no clothes, totally with nothing.I went to the church that is the religious church to seek for assistance but I was also rejected. So I ended up in a place called cave. This was a place where born again Christians used to go for prayer and fasting. It was a cave(three caves)Which could hold over sixty people. So I stayed there for nine months.Sometimes I could come out and go and pray for people and then go back to the cave.It had become my home.To get food when I go to pray for people was by the grace of God.It was a hard undertaking.
Then after nine months,I got connected to a lady who called herself an apostle and I went to stay with her (she had two grown up children). But I did get peace there so I left her place and went to stay with a brother who was helping street children and I stayed there for one month but had no peace either.
Now I had a sister(married woman)who was helping me in prayers and supported me financially while I was passing through all these hard times. So after I left the brother who had street children this sister gave me some money to go back home.I did not know what I was to find home.
But when I reached home I found my parents(who had rejected me)waiting for me to pray for them. They asked me to forgive them and we reconciled and they gave their lives to Jesus(Genesis45:4-7).That which was purposed for evil God turned it to be for good.If they =had not rejected me they would not have got born again. But after seeing them and praying for them I went back to the cave.
A short time after I got connected to a doctor whom I started staying with but he was not born again.I stayed with him for three =years and four months.THer whole family gave their lives to Jesus. Also the doctors marriage which was in the verge of breaking was restored. All these happened not because I prayed a lot but because of the Mighty Hand of God.

EXHORTATION
You are there and you are passing through similar things as I passed through. If you are born again you get encouraged ,God is on your side and He will help you through. But if you are not born again this is your chance to give your life to Jesus. There is no peace outside Jesus.Read Isaiah 57:21.You can be changed today you can be saved today.Pray this prayer now and Jesus will come to your life now:Lord Jesus Christ,I need you.I repent of all my sins wash me with your blood come into my life make me a child of God .Be my Lord and my Saviour.Today I am born again.Amen.
If you have prayed this prayer you can contact me on this address.Email:mwanziasamy@yahoo.co.uk..cellphone:+254734748373.
THE NEWLY BORN AGAIN CHRISTIANS.
If you have just got born again it is of great importance that you get joined to a church near you where The True Word of God (Birth,Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ)is preached.
These three thing are important:
1.Prayer
2.Reading your Bible daily
3.Fellowship with the brethren
PRAYER
Prayer is talking to God and God talking to you. There is no systematic way or method of how to pray. When you get born again you become a child of God and God becomes your Father. So you talk to God the same way you talk yo your father. When you hear about fearing God it does not mean that God is an old man up there ready to kill people.No.He loves you,He cares for you,He wants you.(To fear God is to honour, reverence and adore Him for who He is and what He has done for you).
So just go to Him and tell Him how good He is;thank Him for what He has given you and the many things He has done for you. Then praise Him.Pray all prayers in The Name of Jesus Christ. The following Scriptures will help you in your prayer time:
Matthew.6:9-13,7:7-8.Mark 9:23,11:21-24.Luke 1:37,11:9-13.John 14:13-14,15:7,16:230-24.I John 5:14-15.
READING YOUR BIBLE DAILY
Scripture Reference Psalms 119:105
It is also important to read your Bible daily. The same way your physical body needs food also your spiritual body needs food which is the Word of God.Read your Bible daily;you may not understand it but just read it.Start with the Gospel of John(The Fourth Book of The Gospels).
FELLOWSHIP WITH THE BRETHREN
When you give your life to Jesus you will need to join yourself to a church where The True Word of God is preached.Get connected to The Pastor who will help you grow spiritually in the Word of God.If you do not get a Bible believing and practising church you will die spiritually.Sometimes you may feel so low, then you will need a person to encourage you.Note:In the things of God we do not move by what we feel but what we believe.II Cor.5:7.

GOD`S CALLING AND HOW I CAME TO UGANDA.
After I got saved in 1996 The Lord Jesus called me into ministry. He said:See I have healed you,go and heal the nations.I was so happy that the Lord had appointed me His Representative on the face of the Earth. In spite of all the hardships I was passing through I was happy that God had chosen me into His work.
At first I did not understand the intensity of the call of God in my life but it started unfolding as years went by.In the year 2000 The Lord lgave me a dream.I saw myself in Kampala Uganda.I saw myself seated round a table with four people. In the second dream I saw myself landing in the largest airport in London. Here people were fighting for me to go to their houses to speak to them about Jesus and pray for them.
Now a week after seeing the two dreams I was preaching in Nairobi in an open air. Then I met a man who did not know Swahili but was enjoying my preaching to learn later it was Pastor Benjamin Grace Kintu. Then he invited me to Masaka Uganda where I stayed for two weeks and went back to Kenya. On my way to Nairobi The Lord said to me that He had given me Uganda.I brushed those words off.I told Him He better send me to South Africa,America or UK.Then He told me that the time I would obey Him I would see The glory of God.I fought with the Lord for one and half years.Things were very hard for me but afterwards I gave in to the voice if God.
The lord provided everything I needed for my coming to Uganda and that is how I came to this Land which is God`s Vineyard.
I started serving with Jireh Ministries-Mountain of The Lord ChurchesMasaka Uganda. The first dream was fulfilled when I found myself seated on a round table with The Director of Believer School of Ministry The Reverend Timothy Way,Fredrick Tushabe and Pastor Benjamin.I graduated on 2004 October 30th after two years of being in the Bible College.I got married in Holy Matrimony a week before the graduation.Since then I have been serving in Masaka in The ministry of the Church,Church Planting,Jireh Children Centre and other Ministry programs.I leave in Nyendo Masaka with my wife and two children.
It is not easy to leave my country and come to a strange land. But God reminded me of Abraham in Genesis 12:1-5.I passed through hard things which I can`t explain in writing.
Of all the things God gave me, I would like to testify of one. When I came to Masaka,I could not here nor understand the local language called Luganda. But I remember praying about language barrier and The Lord said to me had given me both to hear and to speak this language. After two weeks I started hearing what people were saying here. When I started speaking few words and now I can hear, speak and understand Luganda.Praise The Lord.
MINISTRY.
Currently,I am serving alongside the senior Pastor Mountain of The Lord Churches(which is under Jireh Ministries).I am also involved in Church Planting, day to day running of Jireh Children Centre. In Church Planting we lhave 53 Churches. The Churches are not only in Masaka but also in other places in Uganda.

THE DAY IT HAPPENNED

Hi.Today I want to tell you something about how the Lord saved me from the hands of the enemy. It happened yesterday.Read II Peter 2:9.I left l home at 11am and headed for a prayer meeting which was in the city(Nairobi)outskirts. We had a very powerful spiritual warfare prayer meeting. After I left for home.
Hardly had I reached home than I met two thieves. They threw me down and wanted to take everything I had.I had with me cellphone, camera, bankcard, money and other things. But to my surprise I pushed one and he fell down. When the other saw that their chance was lost ,he started running away. His accomplice followed him. They did not steal anything from me.But I retained some bruises on my left hand and on my cheek.
But I want to thank God who saved me yesterday from the claws of the enemy.IT IS TRUE THAT HE KNOWS HOW TO DELIVER THE GODLY OUT OF TEMPTATION.May the Lord Jesus Christ also deliver you from what you are going through .He is able.Be blessed as you stand strong in Jesus Name.Amen.(The time mentioned above is in East African time)

MY JOURNEY TO NAIROBI KENYA

After helping Jennie to get her official documents for her two children,I planned to leave for Nairobi(which is the Capital city of Kenya=East Africa)to get my passport.(I have been using a document called Temporary Permit in Uganda). When I was with Jennie and her mother in Kampala=Uganda, getting these documents,I knew that I was planting a seed in the sense that what one plants that is what he/she reaps.
So I left Kampala on 01/05/08 at 3pm(East African Time) and my first stop over was Busia(the town bordering Kenya and Uganda=eastward). There were very heavy clouds of rain ready to start pouring.I spoke to them not to rain in Busia and imagine they obeyed and instead of a downpour it just drizzled.Amen!I reached there at 7:30pm(East African Time).I cleared with the Immigration officials then I had to look for another bus to Nairobi.I got the bus and I left Busia at 9:30pm and reached Nairobi at 9:00am on Friday. The journey from Kampala to Nairobi was 18 hours. It was hectic but God saw me through. So I ask you to stand with me in prayers as I pursue this document.
It takes the hand of God for things to happen. So as I am asking you to stand with me in prayers,I also want to encourage you to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.Do not accept anything to weigh you down.Remember Matthew 11:28.Also remember you have a burden bear and His Name is Jesus Christ The Son of God.
You know the way Jesus helps is as the following example.Lets say you are a taxi driver. Then you get a person carrying a big burden on her back. Then you stop and she enters the car. Then instead of putting the burden in the car,she sits down with her burden on her back.As you go on driving, you happen to see her with her burden on her back! Then you tell her that she should put her burden in the car! That is what Jesus does.He gives you eternal life when you recognize Him and accept Him as your Saviour then He accepts you the way you are and takes away all the burdens. So today as you read this story, remember to give all your burdens unto Jesus.
I have been reading Jennies website expecting that she would put her testimony of how God helped her in Uganda in details but she has not put it.I think there is a blog where I had told you to read her testimony in her website. Now I am compiling it and soon you are going to read it detail by detail on this website. So God bless you.(You can send comments on this website or you can send the comments to my email which appears on this website.(greetings to Todd and Jennie and your family).
