MY JOURNEY TO NAIROBI KENYA

After helping Jennie to get her official documents for her two children,I planned to leave for Nairobi(which is the Capital city of Kenya=East Africa)to get my passport.(I have been using a document called Temporary Permit in Uganda). When I was with Jennie and her mother in Kampala=Uganda, getting these documents,I knew that I was planting a seed in the sense that what one plants that is what he/she reaps.
So I left Kampala on 01/05/08 at 3pm(East African Time) and my first stop over was Busia(the town bordering Kenya and Uganda=eastward). There were very heavy clouds of rain ready to start pouring.I spoke to them not to rain in Busia and imagine they obeyed and instead of a downpour it just drizzled.Amen!I reached there at 7:30pm(East African Time).I cleared with the Immigration officials then I had to look for another bus to Nairobi.I got the bus and I left Busia at 9:30pm and reached Nairobi at 9:00am on Friday. The journey from Kampala to Nairobi was 18 hours. It was hectic but God saw me through. So I ask you to stand with me in prayers as I pursue this document.
It takes the hand of God for things to happen. So as I am asking you to stand with me in prayers,I also want to encourage you to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.Do not accept anything to weigh you down.Remember Matthew 11:28.Also remember you have a burden bear and His Name is Jesus Christ The Son of God.
You know the way Jesus helps is as the following example.Lets say you are a taxi driver. Then you get a person carrying a big burden on her back. Then you stop and she enters the car. Then instead of putting the burden in the car,she sits down with her burden on her back.As you go on driving, you happen to see her with her burden on her back! Then you tell her that she should put her burden in the car! That is what Jesus does.He gives you eternal life when you recognize Him and accept Him as your Saviour then He accepts you the way you are and takes away all the burdens. So today as you read this story, remember to give all your burdens unto Jesus.
I have been reading Jennies website expecting that she would put her testimony of how God helped her in Uganda in details but she has not put it.I think there is a blog where I had told you to read her testimony in her website. Now I am compiling it and soon you are going to read it detail by detail on this website. So God bless you.(You can send comments on this website or you can send the comments to my email which appears on this website.(greetings to Todd and Jennie and your family).
